3rd in 2018, 3rd in 2019, 1st open 2020 (5th including the pros) and Outright 1st in 2021. After four years of constant progress, I can definitely say I’ve conquered the Helvellyn triathlon. 3 years in the making but I can finally say “I have won the Helvellyn triathlon” By far my greatest achievement. 2018 3rd, 2019 2nd, 2020 1st. It’s a brutal event, Renowned within triathlon and feared by most. The weather was dreadful, the field stacked. So proud of this one. To put it into perspective. Alongside the main race, a separate pro race was taking place. Containing many of the U.K.’s best athletes such as Alistair Brownlee. Had I been allowed to race in this category I would have finished 6 of the 25 Pros.
